"We recently renovated our kitchen and hired Ian and Monique Gorda of Canterbury Homes to take on the project. We had gone through bathroom renovations 3 years earlier with a different contractor and did not have a good experience. So, when we hired Ian and Monique, we were looking for a Contractor that used its own trades, was on the job site while work was being done, could stick to the schedule, was readily available for communicating with us and of course respecting our budgetary concerns. We got this from them and more.

They were thorough in their planning and scheduling of the entire project right from the start. In fact, they even were able to start our project 2 weeks earlier! They finished the entire project within the timeframe laid out for us at the start. Every single trade they brought into our home was professional, courteous and did beautiful work.

We recently completed construction of our new home in Sherwood Park with Canterbury Homes. Having previous experience with building three different homes, and two different builders, the thought was a bit frightening to say the least, especially when we decided to tackle building again. The past experiences were extremely frustrating and disappointing with a process that should be memorable.

Ian and Monique Gorda of Canterbury Homes provided everything from start to finish to help create a beautiful home. It was an extremely easy process from discussing plans to choosing colors, finishes and everything else that goes into building a new home. They both were very knowledgeable, helpful, accommodating and enjoyable to work with.

A decision was made to build a custom home. This is the first home we have ever built from scratch. We previously purchased land in the Balmoral Heights Development which had a large pocket and capable of a walk out. After going through our selection process, we decided to go with Canterbury Homes.

Our decision to go with Canterbury Homes was based on a few items. This was going to be a home that I was planning on raising my family and living in for many years to follow. I wanted things to be done to a certain level of quality. They were fully involved with the planning and design phases to give us most of our wants on a controlled budget.

Ian and Monique provided a service that was beyond typical home builders. They are a team where there is attention to the details. Ian was leading the field construction with a hands on approach. He was always one step ahead in planning and scheduling. Ian was always available to answer questions and pursue a path forward. Monique offers a modern design perspective that is second to none. All of the way through the building process Monique put all designs clearly into perspective, the way you want it the first time. She made herself available during the selection process to explore all of the options in a timely fashion.

The overall building experience was very good and I would highly recommend Canterbury Homes for the complete construction of your new home.

My wife and I had been searching for a builder for close to eighteen months when we stumbled upon Canterbury Homes. Their response to our initial call was prompt.

After exploring their previous work, which included their personal home, we were impressed by their artistic flair and meticulous craftsmanship. We were impressed even further when we signed up with them to build our home.

Monique and Ian pay impeccable attention to detail and have been totally dedicated to helping us achieve the home of our dreams. They did extensive legwork for us and bent over backwards to accommodate our schedule through the different phases of building. The final product was ahead of schedule and, just like their previous work, is a masterpiece.
